Situated in Charlottesville's historic downtown and completely renovated in 2013, this 2nd floor walk-up apartment represents what locals love: history and the Downtown Mall. Located on the corner of 1st and Main with views of the Downtown Mall, this lovely one bedroom encompasses the heart of Charlottesville and is at the center of great cuisine, art, theatre, live music, and incredible spectating.
With its original heart pine floors, this apartment boast quality and craftsmanship with features like granite counters, 6 ft tall windows overlooking the Mall, 9 ft ceilings, and modern design furnishings.
The location can't be beat in the middle of the downtown action! We like to note to future guests that this is a popular area (especially on the weekends) and the noise level on the Downtown Mall may be higher particularly on Friday and Saturday evenings. There is an event venue below the apartment that may have considerable activity into the late evening (12:00am).
This specific property includes exclusive access to Common House during your stay. Common House is a local membership based social club that offers a unique space to work, dine, and engage. There is a co-work space available during weekdays, a full service restaurant offering breakfast, lunch, and dinner, as well as a roof-top terrace with sweeping views of Charlottesville. Perfect location; kitchen could use more equipment: cutting board, more knives, etc.; otherwise, we had a delightful time in the spacious and comfortable apartment.

As noted, the staff was always responsive, friendly and easy to work with. Your actual office should have better signage, though! It's hard to find.Property
The furniture and decoration is great. Please do tell me where you got the dining table and chairs/bench. I'm looking for something like this..... The cleanliness: well, there was a water bottle sticking out from under the entertainment center and a half-used box of tissues on the nightstand, but other than that, it was the bomb.

Upon check in, I couldn't get power in the master bedroom. After calling the office, I got it all worked out and some great information for dinner from the staff. All of you were helpful and great to talk to. Thank you for a memorable night.Property

The apartment was perfect! We loved being right on the mall! The weather was glorious, so we opened the windows and let the sights and sounds entertain us. Earplugs are a must though.

My girlfriend and I were one of the first people to stay in this apartment and we both thought it was fantastic! Almost everything was perfect! The apartment is beautiful and spacious. The location is right in the middle of the downtown area/mall. Easy access to the building. Great reserved parking spot right behind the building. Large bedroom, large kitchen and large living space. Great views of the mall. Our only complaint would be the noise. It can get loud in the downtown area as there is a lot going on. For us, it wasn't a problem as we are younger and enjoy the buzz of the street, however, if you are lite sleeper, I suggest bringing some ear plugs or noise maker. But in my view the noise is no reason to pass this awesome apt. up! Would definitely stay here again! Thanks to Mallory and Travis!

My wife and I stayed at Old Met #202 for our anniversary in Charlottesville and it was the perfect place. Everything in the apartment is very modern and it is very open. The restored heart pine floors are beautiful. We love to cook and found everything we needed in the kitchen. The bed was very comfortable and the living room was cozy. The location couldn't be better. Right on the downtown mall we were walking distance from numerous restaurants (we loved Revolutionary Soup and the Whiskey Jar), coffee shops (try Mudhouse), and a movie theatre. Stay Charlottesville was incredibly helpful and really took care of us.
